Accounting Internship

Waste Connections is offering an Accounting Internshipat our Nashville, TN location. This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in accounting or finance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Assist with Financial Reporting:Help prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

• Data Entry:Accurately input financial data into accounting software.

• Reconciliation:Assist with account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Support Audits:Provide support during internal and external audits.

• Research:Conduct financial research and analysis to support business decisions.

• Administrative Tasks:Perform various administrative duties related to accounting.

• Education:Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to Detail:High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Team Player:Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
