Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Consultant to support the Allstate Technology Finance organization with a focus on the financial analysis of End User Computing expenses. This role will serve as a strategic partner to both Finance and IT leadership, providing insights that drive cost optimization, budgeting accuracy, and financial transparency for technology investments. Key Responsibilities

Expense Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze and track technology-related expenditures including hardware, software, support, and labor.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and financial models to monitor spend against budget and forecast, and provide variance explanations as needed.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with IT leaders to develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts for technology spend.
  • Ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic IT initiatives and business goals.

Business Partnering:

  • Act as a liaison between Finance and Technology teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Prepare and help build storylines for financial updates
  • Develop and lead effective presentations for small groups
  • Support vendor negotiations and contract reviews from a financial perspective.

Compliance & Controls:

  • Ensure adherence to internal financial and accounting policies.

Strategic Projects:

  • Support financial analysis for major IT projects, including ROI assessments, business case development, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives such as digital product transformation and business unit integrations.

Education

* 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

* 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

* This job does not have supervisory duties.

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $50,700.00 - 89,062.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
