Currently, the company has an excellent opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative in our corporate headquarters in Wheeling, IL. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: -Responsible for managing customer accounts with objectives to increase customer satisfaction, gross margin, and sales. -Handles customer requests including quotes, orders, follow-up, and delivery information. -Solves various customer matters, issues credits, debits, and authorizes return goods. -Communicates customer requirements to Operations & Engineering. -Monitors price inventory agreements. -Supports members of the outside sales team. -Works well in a team environment to solve customer issues. -Communicates issues and problems with management in a timely manner. -Maintains superb attention to detail. -Maintains detailed documentation to support decisions and ensure continuity of service. - The volume of orders: ranges from 50-75 larger orders with multiple line items - Working on the Power Transmission Team - International and Domestic Clients. - % of time would depend on weather or not they are assigned to phones that week or not. When they are assigned to phones about 70% of their day would be on the phones which is around 45 calls on avg. Calls are routed to their desk and the associate would have to answer the call. The team that supports the phone work during the given week and then calls route to the open person. Calls ring through the headset so they would need to be wearing the headset to hear it ringing. You can also make yourself unavailable for calls for breaks and other work. They don't require people to be on the phone 100% of the day because there is other work to be done *Skills* sales support, erp system, order entry, customer service, pricing, data entry, KPI, microsoft office, QAD, CRM, Ms office suite *Top Skills Details* sales support,erp system,order entry,customer service,pricing *Additional Skills & Qualifications* MUST HAVES: -2 years of manufacturing sales support or manufacturing customer service - Experience in past role managing Product Knowledge - Microsoft Office Suite - Order Entry NICE HAVES: -QAD software Attendance Policy: Must be at your desk ready to go at 8am and work until 5pm each day. There is a 5pt system and if you are late by 1 minute then you get a point. 5 points and you will be terminated. Candidates must know that punctuality and attendance is required and very strict. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
