*Description*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mobile Device Support Specialist in Waukegan, IL. This role is responsible for managing mobile device requests, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely and accurate support for end users. *Job Responsibilities:* * Reconcile client service requests with available mobile device inventory * Process mobile device requests through ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with company policies * Assign devices appropriately based on internal guidelines and user needs * Document all transactions, update device records, and maintain accurate system data * Input and maintain inventory data in the Telecom Expense Management system * Assist with packing and shipping devices as needed * Generate and maintain inventory reports * Perform device maintenance tasks including soft wipes, physical cleaning, quality checks, and re-entry into inventory for redeployment * Follow instructions from the Inventory Manager or Supervisor * Remain accessible to customers, team members, and other departments via email, phone, and instant messaging during work hours * Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of devices (e.g., iPads, smartphones) * Coordinate with vendors (e.g., AT&T, Verizon) to activate new lines or modify existing services * Create documentation and process guides as requested * Record all support activities for performance tracking and reporting * Conduct manual inventory cycle counts when necessary * Provide expert support and guidance to peers and clients as needed * Resolve escalated support calls and take ownership of client mobility issues *Required Skills:* * Minimum 3 months of hands-on experience supporting mobile hardware * Proficiency in iOS and/or Android device support * Experience working with mobile carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon) *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
