Program Analyst (NSWCDD-Dahlgren)

Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is seeking a Program Analyst to join our team in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) in Dahlgren, VA. This role plays a critical part in NSWCDD's strategic initiative to modernize, optimize, and simplify its IT infrastructure while advancing IT Service Management (ITSM) practices to deliver measurable, mission-focused outcomes.

This initiative not only includes the continued operation and maintenance of the existing IT environment but also emphasizes digital transformation, information management, infrastructure engineering, and the implementation of modern development, deployment, and automation technologies. The selected candidate will be essential to enhancing IT service delivery and ensuring efficient, customer-focused support in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in R&D program development, in service support, and procurements of supplies and material supporting the Littoral Combat Ship Gun Mission Module.
  • Develop & assist with life cycle cost analyses
  • Understand program management concepts supporting the optimization of cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Provide technical analysis of documentation in support of various events and milestone reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree desired, preferably in business/technical curriculum
  • Two (2) years of work-related experience in management support.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding and ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents and reports; OR, three (3) years of specialized experience in: financial planning, budgeting and execution of project funds for allocation purposes; integrated management schedule (IMS) development and tracking for planning and budgeting; coordination of task planning, schedule development and task execution for DoD and Navy programs and projects.
  • Skill set requires demonstrating both a comprehensive knowledge of software applications and best business practices along with a high degree of skill in applying software functions necessary to prepare complex and detailed documents utilizing the Microsoft (MS) Office suite of products.
  • Experience in processing complex and lengthy technical reports that include tables, graphs, charts, or multiple columns, participating in Technical Progress and Design Reviews and program technical meetings, and providing status and inputs to technical reports, white papers and meetings. Provide support for management activities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
  • Must be available to work onsite in Dahlgren, VA daily

Compensation

Junior Level: At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The general salary range for this position is $40,000-$100,000; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms.
