Position Summary:

The Field Talent Acquisition Manager is a key leader within the HR team, partnering with Field HR leadership as well as cross-functional Leaders to deliver proactive, sustainable talent strategies that support overall business success. The Field TA Manager understands and effectively leverages the Ventura Foods Employee Value Proposition in combination with key employment marketing tactics to deliver solid results across all manufacturing sites in the U.S. and Canada. The Field TA Manager implements processes and tactics that ensure Ventura Foods' is hiring qualified, relevant, and diverse candidates that embody the Ventura Foods' culture--the Ventura Edge.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner closely with HR and Operations leaders to build and launch immediate and long-term talent acquisition strategies that meet the individual needs of the business and scale across manufacturing sites in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Develop reporting and analytic capabilities to "measure what matters", drive the right behavior and share best practices/results. Refine and adjust approach based on insights and alignment to business need.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all things field staffing, collaborate with Finance, HR, and Operations to proactively plan and execute recruitment to stay ahead of predicted needs.
  • Leverage the Ventura Edge and Employee Value Proposition to launch effective employment marketing campaigns across all platforms (social media, paid media, job boards email marketing, grassroots marketing, etc.) to attract new top talent and re-engage existing candidates.
  • Monitor and analyze talent marketing data and analytics to inform marketing strategy, evaluate ROI and effectively prioritize targeting, spend, content, tactics, engagement, follow-through, etc.
  • Take a continuous improvement mindset to evaluating existing TA systems and processes to modernize and improve the overall full-cycle recruitment funnel for field high-volume recruiting. Evaluate processes and new technologies to leverage, pace and scale TA across the organization
  • Develops and maintains a network of professional vendors to help identify and source qualified candidates. This includes contacts with schools, alumni groups, external staffing firms, technology platforms, and job boards
  • Champion Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across the recruitment cycle from attracting diverse talent, ensuring equitable pay practices, to selecting and hiring without bias.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned; Some travel required
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience in the Human Resources field including recruiting and influencing at all levels in a manufacturing or similar industry required
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Employment Marketing tactics, including familiarity with various job boards, launching sourcing techniques that scale, social media launch, and measuring ROI in partnership with the Employment Marketing Manager required
  • Experience building recruiting KPIs as well as the reporting, analytics, and executive dashboards that provide actionable insights on Recruiting and Hiring efforts required
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems in optimizing systems and tools to achieve more effective, measurable and efficient results required
  • Ability to travel up to 25% internationally required
  • In-house full-cycle recruiting focused is preferred
  • Experience working within a matrixed organization strongly preferred
  • Prior direct people leadership experience is strongly desired
  • SuccessFactors system experience a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) - optimizing systems and tools to achieve more effective, measurable and efficient results; SuccessFactors system experience a plus
  • Continuous Improvement mindset, with proven experience in change management and driving new processes across an organization
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving; researching, recommending and rolling out recruiting methods and tools that make the recruiting "funnel" more efficient and productive
  • Stellar communication skills, ability to influence and lead at all levels, always acting with integrity
  • Excellent teamwork skills, ability to partner with individuals at all levels of leadership within the organization with exceptional follow-up skills
  • Passion and drive for diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the recruitment and selection process
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills

Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography.
