14906BR FTE: 0.8 Shift: Primarily M-F Days/PMs Compensation: $43.71 Hours Per Week: 32-40 Weekends: Some Benefit Eligible The Nursing Professional Development Specialist provides education services and resource support to patient care leadership, clinical staff, and patients. This is accomplished through a variety of services; from staff development and continuing education for employees, to a leadership role in committee/project work. The position requires an independent, critical thinking, self-motivated individual who demonstrates effective decision-making and problem- solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to take a leadership role in facilitating organizational change through partnerships with staff and managers. Qualifications: Master's of Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Degree with a clinical focus or Master's Degree with Nursing Education focus 3 years clinical nursing experience Recent critical care or procedural experience Teaching adult learners Development of learning materials State of WI RN licensure or is eligible for State of WI licensure EEO/M/F/D/V
