Position Summary: JMT's Hunt Valley, MD office is seeking a Bridge Inspection Engineer responsible for assisting a Professional Engineer in performing NBIS inspections of in-service transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and traffic device support structures. Working Conditions Work is performed in the office (50% of the time) and in the field (50% of the time). Field work will be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions and on uneven terrain or surfaces. Candidate must have the ability to perform inspections while bending, kneeling, or standing, and lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Work will require the operation of access equipment and performing inspections at heights requiring fall protection, and in confined spaces requiring confined space equipment. Field work may require short duration out-of-town travel.
