Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in El Segundo.CA Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.).
• Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices.
• Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops).
• Utilize detailed knowledge of audio / videoconferencing standards.
• Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
• Utilize basic technical certification, hardware repair, component-level knowledge, operating system (Windows, Unix/Linux, Apple) and application knowledge, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Assist in the relocation of LM employees on the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in new location).
• Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)

Here's what requirements you'll need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing network skills, regarding installation and configuration of network devices in a professional setting
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT generalist-type role; multifaceted

Additional Information:

• Requires a clean driving record, as an MVR might be run. Please note, you must be comfortable potentially driving company vehicles/cars from site to site.
• Possible lifting may be required - up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
