Job Description
Job Summary: The Cafes Supervisor will oversee the daily operations at all assigned cafe locations across campus. Key Duties & Responsibilities: * Supervise, direct, train, and assist all Snack Bar Attendants, FSW II, FSW I, and student employees. Oversee daily operations in a fast-paced cafe environment. * Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment by accomplishing or facilitating daily, weekly, and quarterly cleaning tasks. * Ensure all-day product availability by following production guidelines and communicating ordering needs with Assistant Manager/Manager. Fill out order guides and inventory sheets. * Maintains organized storage areas at each location. Ensure prompt and safe storage of all products delivered by vendors. Monitors deliveries for issues and communicates any issues with Assistant Manager and Manager. * Assist the department in reaching its goals. Ensure all staff are following department guidelines in collaboration with Assistant Manager and Manager. * Collaborate with the Assistant Manager and Manager to address the changes needed as they are identified. * Ensure all customer needs are met by providing prompt and courteous service. Executes service recovery as needed by taking appropriate actions to elevate customer experience. * Follow all verbal and written instructions from supervisors. Perform any other tasks as assigned. Job Specification: * Ability to read, write, and perform basic math. * ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. * Ability to grasp and lift objects up to 50# from the floor to shoulder height.
Shift
Normal scheduled hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with two 30 minute breaks (unpaid).
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.91/hour Grade: GGS-007 University Title: Senior Retail Sales Associate Internal applicants can determine their University title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.
