Operating Group Safety Director - Civil SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a passionate Operating Group Safety Director for our Civil Operating Group to serve as a safety resource to the Operating Group management team and assist project management teams. Site development and project earthwork experience required. RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a construction safety role or equivalent related experience
High school diploma plus CHST Certification, OSHA 500 certification, and a minimum of 15 years of continuous construction experience leading crews and planning work, including at least 10 years as a dedicated construction safety professional responsible for managing project and/or regional safety programs, conducting and reviewing hazard analyses and developing controls, conducting safety training, and working with project teams and leadership to plan work activities

**The base pay range for this role is $133,300 - $200k. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
