Description Professional - Clinical $15,000 SIGN ON BONUS **Current MaineHealth Employees Not Eligible** Relocation for Approved Offers Summary: Maine Medical Center has Cardiac Sonographer positions available that provide growth opportunity in many areas of advanced cardiac sonography. We have a dynamic and growing team that is committed to high quality, patient centered care. Our echo lab supports many of our subspecialty cardiology teams such as the advanced valve clinic, congenital cardiology, VAD and transplant team, cardiac procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, watchman and more. Our team and organization create the perfect environment to grow as a sonographer. Responsible for using diagnostic medical equipment to assist with the diagnosis of various cardiac conditions, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and proficiency with appropriate clinical protocols. Under the direction of a Cardiologist, the Cardiac Sonographer II role performs ultrasound procedures for use in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Assumes responsibility for designated procedures and/or may be assigned duties as preceptor in areas of specific competence. Weekend Rotation is Required Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
