Manager Job Description
Manufacturer with 200+ employees seeks detail-oriented individual to assist the controller with daily accounting functions. This individual will also manage the payroll/human resource functions. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Experience in corporate accounting preferred but not required. Knowledge of cost accounting principles. Strong analytical, financial statement preparation/reporting. Knowledge of GAAP a plus. Knowledge of ADP (payroll processing system) a plus. Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration. Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and ability to advise on laws and regulations affecting HR practices. PC skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus. |
