Additional components of compensation may include:

  • Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
  • Overtime
  • On-call pay

Per Diem Staff will not be eligible to participate in any associate benefit plans sponsored by the Health System.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language pathology. Required
  • Participates in educational programs on an ongoing basis and completes mandatory CEUs. Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Current license from the State of Illinois. An applicant for employment as a physical, occupational, or speech therapists must present acceptable evidence of licensure. An applicant who fails to provide this documentation will not be hired. A new employee will not be allowed to work as a therapist or assistant until evidence of licensure eligibility is provided. Required
  • CPR certification. Required
  • Has certificate of clinical competence through the American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible to complete Clinical Fellowship year with proper supervision. Required
