Job Description: The Professional Services Process and Standards Manager provides strategic oversight and leadership to the Professional Services Project Management Office Organization and supports the successful governance and execution of projects, programs, and portfolios. The incumbent will establish frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure projects are run consistently and meet regulatory or organizational standards. This role will maintain and enforce consistent project methodologies and tools across the organization.
- Develop and maintain project related documentation, adjusting collateral based on industry and client needs.
- Manage process for identifying, assessing, mitigating and monitoring project risks and issues.
- Provide experienced Project Management and Operations expertise with consultative approach toward process improvement; meet with client contacts as needed.
- Collaborate with internal leadership to identify needs for resource changes, including sales, training and implementation, solutions, account management, outsourced vendor relationships, IT and other divisions.
- Ensure alignment of internal messaging and deliverables with other service teams meets brand and compliance standards.
- Ensure service level agreements are met for service offerings, identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans for problem resolution.
- Manage the compliance process to ensure adherence to best practice. Including auditing and reporting of projects.
- Provide direction and guidance on internal policies, processes and procedures in accordance with Professional Services methodology and compliance standards.
- Provide direction to the sales team when operative perspective/expertise is needed.
- Manage and drive staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, performance levels, and process change initiatives.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years in Healthcare IT consulting, support or project management, and/or client relationship management, and/or vendor management, and/or operations or related experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of:Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools; proficiency in capacity and demand management for professional services project management.
- Skill in:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and collaboration skills; strong organizational, planning and time management skills; decision-making; conflict resolution and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to:Ability to foster teamwork, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
