What we are looking for

SCS is seeking a Project Advisor to provide strategic insight and technical oversight for key initiatives, including critical minerals, carbon sequestration, Class VI permitting, lithium extraction, and Department of Energy (DOE) programs such as CarbonSAFE and CarbonBASE. This role will also focus on cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, clients, internal leadership, to support SCS Engineers' mission and uphold our credibility within the industry.

In addition, the Project Advisor will actively contribute to business development efforts through proposal preparation, grant management, technical writing, and stakeholder engagement. This position plays a vital role in driving the company's strategic growth by fostering knowledge, providing team mentorship, and offering technical leadership across multidisciplinary projects. The Project Advisor will also be responsible for guiding teams in both project management and project direction.

This is a remote/hybrid position. While the role primarily allows for remote work, periodic in-office presence, typically one to two days per week, when feasible in the Oklahoma City Office, will be encouraged to support collaboration, team integration, and project coordination.



How you can make an impact

    Serves as a company resource with respect to the National Partner Program, and may work with various offices on technical issues.
  • Participates in business development and client relations.
  • Wins projects for home office and other offices and provides technical and client support to those projects.
  • Serves in a lead role on projects and on proposals/interviews.
  • Conceives, plans, and conducts independent or team projects in areas of unconventional scope or complexity or in specialty areas. Assignments may require unconventional or novel approaches/analysis, be in an area of specialization, or require research.
  • Prepares articles for publication and presents papers at conferences.
  • Work may result in the development ofmaterials, processes, products, and scientific methods.
  • Participates in research activities.
  • Mentors or guides staff in various offices within area of expertise.
  • May serve as expert witness.
  • Manages and directs projects.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Science or Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.


Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
