Hitachi Energy is seeking a Regional Power+ Program Coordinator for the North America region, including the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In this role, you will report to a Global Power+ Program Manager and contribute to the Global Power+ Graduate Program, our flagship early career development program, by being responsible for regional program coordination of Power+ new graduates hired in countries of your scope in North America. As a program coordinator for Power+ new graduates you'll be responsible for ongoing oversight on managing participant data in the HR information system (Workday) and coaching support to participants and their rotation managers. You will be responsible for delivering a recruitment strategy, collaborating with local Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding teams, engaging with the business to hire candidates. Additionally, you will identify rotational assignment projects and educate business representatives about the program, its framework and costs, ensuring a smooth liaison between local needs against global requirements. You will participate in a community among Program Coordinators from different countries and regions. You will be responsible for data integrity and reporting for countries of your scope as part of global landscape. This is an exciting role that will have multiple responsibilities relating to talent management. The Power+ Program coordination will take up 50% of time (in line with the program's lifecycle which has defined peaks and downs), while the remaining 50% will mix and blend other impactful talent management projects and activities, such as delivering assessments, in line with the company's strategic needs and direction. This is an excellent role for you if you are an HR professional excited about using your project management skills with a good understanding of an employee lifecycle within a global company (recruitment, onboarding, a culture of feedback and performance management, pay review, and country labor code) and with the capability to easily build strong and long-term relationships with HR Business Partners and business leaders.
