Title: Administrative Assistant/ Administrative Coordinator

Duration: 2 years contract

Pay Rate: $20/hr on W2 without benefits

Location: Albany NY, 12229

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Associate Director in increasing productivity and efficiency in the unit by taking the lead in streamlining operations,

    increasing efficiency of unit workflow, and developing a more structured system for managing grants files.
  • Act as an additional review to ensure accuracy in documents, letters, reports, etc.
  • Assist in review and organization of various solicitations, contracts, and grants.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings, and monitor several email mailboxes.
  • Perform a wide variety of activities associated with contractual and administrative services.
  • Perform legal and legislative research.
  • Assist with and coordinate special projects as assigned.
  • Act as a backup for the Contracts Assistant when they are unavailable.


Technical Qualifications:

  • Please provide experience with the following and include the number of years.
  • At minimum an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred (recent graduates with less than full time experience are

    encouraged to apply).
  • Employment history of at least 2 years (office experience preferred, not necessarily required).
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills, strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications.
