JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Improvement Partner (QIP) is responsible for working with leadership to develop, implement and monitor clinical and operational systems improvement projects that support the organizations key strategic priorities. The Quality Improvement Partner provides transformational and transactional leadership to articulate and deliver on the vision and values of the organization to succeed as a High Reliability Organization. The Quality Improvement Partner provides expertise in systems analysis and performance optimization, risk reduction and accreditation compliance. The individual serves as the quality project manager, performance improvement and change management leader for system-wide performance improvement initiatives. And as such is accountable for managing high risk, complex, cross departmental, cross organization initiatives that are enterprise wide. The Quality Improvement Partner utilizes quality management tools and methodology to plan and implement projects; and when required, analyzes organizational systems and processes and makes recommendations for clinical operational system improvements. The Quality Improvement Partner works as a change agent, and is a key liaison to Senior Leadership, Quality Councils/Committees, Department Chairs and leaders across the organization. She/he works with leadership to achieve identified outcomes, and enhance system performance though the deployment of quality management skills and systems redesign.

EDUCATION:

Minimum requirement: Bachelor's of Science statistics, business administration, or healthcare field.

Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent professional experience,preferred.

Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt highly desirable.

EXPERIENCE:

Pediatric Experience is beneficial.

Minimum of five years leadership experience in a complex healthcare setting preferred.

Demonstrated experience with complex systems analysis.

Demonstrated experience in Project Management, Lean, Six Sigma and Change Management.

Demonstrated experience in workflow analysis, and management of complex, multi-faceted project plans and teams.
