Systems Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

Contract Length: 6+ Months, possible extension


Job Description:

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Recognized as an internal expert and thought leader in area of expertise with broad experience across multiple job areas.

Works under consultative direction against annual goals to manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization.

Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts.

Develops or champions new systems, concepts, or technologies.

Recommends tactics and strategies that directly impact the achievement of overall business or functional results.

Required Qualifications:


  • Need to be able to implement AI and ML in platforms in tactical edge environments.
  • EW and AI/ML Architecture support.
  • EW-Dada fusion and aggregit data management


With the significant growth within the regional market many more requests for architecture support have been coming through ($420M+ of Revenue Opportunity).

This individual will support the current team with shaping the architecture for these opportunities.


  • Proficient in MS suite Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen balanced with technical aptitude.
  • Strong background in building strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of contractual terms and conditions and approaches to mitigating risk.
  • Managed large, complex project initiatives with minimal oversight or direction.
  • Must understand working in tactical military environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and synthesize complex data sets.
  • Highly self-motivated with ability to drive positive change by team building and gaining support from people and resources across the enterprise.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

BA or MA graduate degree in Engineering or military equivalent

Master's degree and 8-10 years related experience

Estimated Min Rate: $56.00

Estimated Max Rate: $80.00
