We are seeking a highly skilled professional with at least five years of experience in personnel security, process improvement, and metrics oversight. Leadership or team lead experience is preferred to help drive effective project execution and support the organization's goals.

Description and Responsibilities

This position supports Key Personnel on a Personnel Security contract in Springfield, VA.

  • Applying incident management, problem solving, and task performance
  • Producing finished documentation such as: Reports, Special Studies, Policy and Procedural Development and Security Training Programs and Assessments.
  • Providing technical security support to projects.
  • Producing Key Performance Indicators
  • Identifying areas for improvement and approaching in a proactive manner
  • Monitoring project tasks and schedules as well as providing high level management support, submitting required reports, and communicating policies, purpose, and goals of the organization.
  • May be required to travel on a recurring basis in order to conduct research, present findings, recommendations. Travel is expected to consist of visits throughout the United States. The frequency of travel is expected to vary, based upon mission needs, but is not anticipated to exceed 25%.

Experience

This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. Written and oral communications skills commensurate with position.

Preferred

  • Experience within one or more of the standard securities and/or intelligence fields e.g., technical, physical, information, industrial, personnel and operational security.
  • Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in one or more security personnel security case processing
  • Experience implementing complex government security programs and policies.
