Work Schedule: Onsite - Buffalo, NY

- High School diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Repair Technician, Machinist, or Skill-trades experience
As a Machine Repair Technician I , you will:
- Perform various machine maintenance related tasks, including but not limited to: daily lubrication, cutting fluid maintenance, simple repair, preventive maintenance, and hazardous waste handling
- Operate fork lift and trucks for movement of fluid drums (oils, coolants, solvents, and other fluids) between outside storage areas and inside distribution points.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of coolants, solvents, oils and lubricants.
- Ensure machine lubrication is performed to prevent machine downtime, including forecasting usage of fluid to prevent lack of product on hand.
- Ensure machine cutting fluid and hydraulic tanks are properly filled, cleaned, and maintained. For aqueous coolants; recognize potential issues before problems develop including maintaining correct concentration levels and growth of biologicals.
- Perform cleaning, moving, aligning, simple repair of machines or equipment as necessary.Must follow all applicable safety standards, including but not limited to Lock-Out Tag-Out, NFPA 70E, and Hazardous Material Handling.
- Recognize developing machine problems and report to Machine Repair.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $23.00-$26.00 Hourly
