About the Role:

  • As an integral member of the Woodside Property team, provide support for the Property & Workplace business plan, strategy, priorities, initiatives, and objectives as required.
  • Collaboratively develop, coordinate, and deliver office Project services across our International Region workplaces in line with the operating model.
  • Manage delivery of office fit out Projects and ensure Project risks are identified, monitored, and contractor compliance to Company standards are maintained.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage the budgets for office Capital Projects to ensure cost effectiveness throughout the year and Project budget performance at year end.
  • Manage contract effectiveness for Project Management, Construction, and delivery, ensuring KPI performance and adherence to specifications, codes, and regulations.
  • Provide oversight and direction as focal point for Projects contractors and consultants; manage performance, feedback, quality control, and safety management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

HSEQ



  • Safety leadership inline with Woodside's Safety Culture.
  • Accountable for recurring Project contractor risk management, project HSE hazards, JSA's/JRA's/hot work permitting, project-based field leadership.
  • Accountable for Project design deliverables, project sustainability, quality.



LEADERSHIP



  • Meet the Woodside leadership expectations commensurate with the role. Refer Leadership & Management Development Framework.
    Customer Development Strategy and Capability:
  • Anticipate demand for fit out Projects in the Int'l region, interface between internal Project customers in the Int'l region, provide customer advisory for successful project outcomes.
  • Demonstrated and prioritized alignment to Company, Function, and internal customer objectives, consistent and aligned Project reporting to internal stakeholders and GP&T.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset in management of Project construction contractors and subcontractors, Project cost control and Project reporting.
  • Focal point for local permitting and code enforcement authorities, and design consultants


TECHNICAL & COMMERCIAL



  • Plan, implement, and maintain Project obligations within the International region portfolio. Comply with laws, regulations and facility License to Operate requirements.
  • Manage all technical aspects of office Projects, code compliance, innovations in life safety and MEP systems application, ergonomics, ADA and accessibility compliance.
  • Ensure Projects design compliance with the Woodside ODG, develop Project cost control measures, ensure Project IT/AV compliance with Woodside Digital standards.
  • Seamless Project handover to operations, O&M documents, warranties, punch list close.

Business Development Intelligence:



  • Leverage relationships with key business stakeholders to gain insight into future Project demands to support the business, build trust through anticipating Project requirements and developing early budgets schedules to support business planning and budgeting cycles for fit outs


Customer Relationships:



  • Continuously manage key stakeholder and customer relationships; provide Project updates, Project performance dashboards, and ensure Digital teams are continuously informed of Project demands
  • Actively identify and manage Project risks, develop mitigations to build customer trust with reliability

Skills & Experience:

Core skillsets required:



  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a high performing project team, ability to organize and manage competing priorities and resourcing challenges
  • Foundational business acumen, excellent collaborative communication skills, time management, objective critical thinking problem solving style
  • Experiential knowledge of construction and commercial office project delivery in the Americas, preferentially some international project experience
  • Technical baseline understanding of MEP, Life Safety systems, access control systems, and digital systems as applied in commercial office projects
  • Experienced commercial office interior fit out project management skills, project management software tools, and concise stakeholder project reporting
  • Project safety experience, prioritization of safety in all aspects of project delivery, consistently exceeding minimum compliance levels
  • Strong project risk management experience, understanding of formal risk management, controls, control design standards, testing and remediations
  • Robust contracting and procurement experience, experience in acting as a contract representative in prior roles, improvement of contract performance
  • Experience delivering signage packages during projects, understanding and applying brand standards for successful representation of Brand in projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, active listener, empathetic in interpersonal interactions, challenges convention, consistently respectful, cultural awareness, ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, resilient when faced with continuous change

Experience:



  • 5 years' experience in the construction and/or building services sector, project management, contract management, and management of project teams
  • Undergraduate degree in complimentary field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in design, engineering, procurement, commissioning, construction audit, inspections, testing regimens, LEED, IBC, NFPA, ADA


Desirable qualifications in any of the following:



  • Occupational First Aid/AED, OSHA, property management, continuous improvement, change management, basic SAP
