Occupational Health Department Overview

Our department is committed to bringing quality and compassionate care not only to patients but also to outside businesses. We are unique in that aspect as we partner with other businesses to help keep their employees healthy and safe. Doing so means we treat patients for work-related injuries, pre-employment physicals, and DOT (Department of Transportation) examinations. With this, we also provide any testing that the company may need to ensure the safety of the employees, and this can range from vaccines/Tb testing, lab work, PFT (pulmonary function test), RFT (Respiratory Fit Test), urine/oral drug screening, to audio and basic vision exams.

Our Occupational Health Department offers a wide array of services designed to meet the diverse health needs of employees in various industries. These services are integral to maintaining a healthy workforce and include:

  • Work-related injuries
  • Pre-employment physicals
  • DOT examinations
  • Employee Health Screenings

Job Summary

Directs the activities of team members within assigned area and ensures the delivery of optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction. Trains team members and serves as a liaison between providers, team members and practice manager in daily operations. Supports charge capture processing, standard work, process improvement and practice staffing. Manages team members performance and development and ensures policy adherence.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area Required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, management or other related areas Preferred.
  • Two years of recent relevant supervisor experience in health care/medical practice or related work Required.
  • Two years of relevant experience in healthcare leadership, or relevant leadership experience informal or formal Preferred.
