Automotive Estimator II
This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the reconditioning of vehicles, including wholesale and retail, through the reconditioning market center. The Automotive Recon Coordinator monitors, and communicates all activities related to the reconditioning of clients' expectations, verifies required information, paperwork, and data entry are accurate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform various clerical and administrative duties relating to vehicle recon fulfillment meeting all clients SLA's
- Maintain client account agreements, vehicle files, records of reconditioning work completion, and other required information.
- Create, maintain, and audit accurate charges for reconditioning fees related to vehicles processed.
- Analyze and manage clients' reports and vehicle throughput via daily report/query capabilities.
- Perform data entry and verify customers' vehicle information is accurately recorded in the system.
- Respond to client and corporate inquiries relating to assigned customer vehicles, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems.
- Receive vehicle and registration information from clients interested in reconditioning services. * Enter all pertinent information into software applications, AS400, and RPP, and approved work requested by the client.
- Utilize the AS400/VCF/RPP systems to monitor and track vehicle repairs.
- Communicate with Recon Shop management and posting & procurement to meet client SLA's
- Monitor vehicle through the reconditioning fulfillment process to ensure the timeline commitment is met.
- Review completed work, ensuring client tracking and processing is achieved and/or exceeded. * Work with finance/local management to ensure customers are charged accurately.
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with safety leadership to support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior auction experience and general knowledge of auction operations are preferred.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Attention to detail required
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently.
- The required vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.

SMCOX
USD 21.25 - 31.92 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $21.25 - $31.92/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
