Job Overview

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, the Manufacturing Engineering Technician provides support to the Applications and Production Engineering with cost estimates and accurate technical advice. Also supports the production departments by creating programs for CNC machines and develops and enters manufacturing processes.

A Day In The Life

    Primarily responsible for supporting the production departments by:

    1. Providing timely and accurate technical advice.

    2. Creating programs for CNC machines

    3. Developing and entering manufacturing processes

    4. Supporting the Applications and Production Engineering departments with cost estimates.




What will help you thrive in this role?

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering required. One to two years of experience in similar or related field preferred. Also requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee must occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment - The position is primarily an office-based position with regular visits to the plant floor.
