Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Director of Credit & Collections for our Finance team.

Thishighly motivated, data-driven individual will be responsible for overseeing the company's credit and collections function-developing policy, improving process efficiency, and leading a high-performing team to ensure timely customer payments and strong cash flow.

This position reports to the VP of Finance. This position will be fully onsite for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, standardize, and maintain written policy documentation related to the credit and customer set up process.
• Interface with sales organization to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers and opportunities.
• Develop communication plans with regional General Managers and Sales Team leadership to help maintain clear and consistent communication.
• Make credit decisions within assigned authority.
• Manage collections team while creating clear and consistent processes across all regions.
• Initiate process improvement and quality reviews to simplify and improve productivity.
• Resolve credit and outstanding balance collection issues with customers.
• Develop and maintain management reporting, delivering quarterly packages to stakeholders.
• Lead and train both new and existing staff.
• Develop mastery of Triumvirate's credit and collections processes.
• Oversee payment application and ensure ledgers are properly and accurately maintained.
• Deliver strong customer service skills.

Basic Requirements:

• Strong computer skills - particularly Word and Excel.
• Experience with Oracle; Great Plains experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' credit and collections management experience.
• Strong experience working with national or international organizations
• Prior experience working with $500 million plus revenue.
• Vast understanding of credit reporting agencies (D&B / Equifax).
• Experience with federal and state contracts and processes a plus.
• Experience managing client payment portals a plus.
• Proficient in reading / interpreting financial statements for the purpose of underwriting credit.
• Both written and verbal clear and concise communication skills.
• Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
