EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required



  • Education
    Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields of study


  • Experience
    6 years Analytics and project experience in data querying, statistical programming and data visualization using tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS and
    3 years' Experience supporting analytics efforts for performance improvement projects
    May consider experience in lieu of education.


  • Licenses and Certifications
    Certification in LEAN/Six Sigma Yellow Belt within 1 year Or,
    (PMP) Project Management Prof Cert within 1 year


Preferred



  • Licenses and Certifications
    CER IN ONE RELATED APPLICATION Certification in EPIC Clarity and one additional module within 1 Year


JOB DUTIES



  • Leads highly complex projects and serves as primary customer contact. Defines and maintains project plans and schedules. Monitors compliance with definitions of project scope, timeline and deliverables. Provides regular updates on projects to customers and management.
  • Designs and develops predictive and advanced analytics, utilizing multiple data sources simultaneously.
  • Analyzes and organizes data using the appropriate analytical and statistical methods, which includes A) Ability to analyze and evaluate information to support a decision or recommendations B) Critically examining the information and make judgements-tests, critique, defend, and criticize the information C) Anticipate and plan strategies for overcoming obstacles
  • Designs, develops or recommends improvements to management reporting tools as needed
  • Leads lower-level analysts in the collection, interpretation and analysis of financial data to support organizational decision making and strategic planning activities.
  • Generally, organizes, plans for scheduling, coordinating resources, and meeting deadlines.
  • Provides practical recommendations through thorough research on business process improvements and clinical operation benchmarks to directors and executive leaders. Assists in developing and implementing business strategies in departments to improve revenue cycle outcomes and productivity.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for revenue cycle programs and provide analytics that leverage these measures programmatically and meaningfully to the revenue cycle.
  • Follows data management standards to ensure analytics and reporting meet various revenue cycle needs while ensuring accuracy and quality of data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Work requires ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines, as well as time management.
  • Work requires demonstrated ability and skills with project management and quality improvement tools, such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Sharepoint, or Qeystone.
  • Work requires demonstrated ability and skills with quality improvement methodology, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Work requires excellent written communications skills.
  • Work requires good organizational skills.
  • Work requires strong analytical/problem solving skills.
