Forensic Therapist

AllHealth Network is currently looking for qualified licensed Forensic Therapist to join our team of passionate behavioral health service professionals on our FACT team. As a team we strive every day to nurture growth and recovery by caring for each other, our clients, and our future.

Job Description:

Forensic Therapist

Function as an essential position providing individual therapy in person and/or via telehealth, focusing on improving clients' mental health outcomes and daily functioning; reducing recidivism by addressing criminogenic risks and needs; divert individuals in need of treatment away from the criminal justice system; mitigating risk of reoccurring arrest, incarceration, and hospitalization; and increase public safety.



  • Addressing criminogenic risk and needs as part of the treatment plan, including the use of evidence based cognitive behavioral therapies shown to reduce recidivism.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and documentation to meet regulatory standards and/or contractual requirements.
  • Serve clients who may have:


    • SPMI diagnoses
    • Current and/or prior arrests and incarcerations
    • High risk behaviors


  • Leveraging sanctions and incentives imposed by criminal justice agencies, providing supervision, when appropriate.
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, a team-based model to ensure integration of services and coordination of care to promote improved client outcomes.


    • This may include performing some case management duties or working with a case manager to best meet the needs of the client.


  • Complete assessments to collect in-depth information about a client's unique situation and functioning to identify their individual needs.
  • Provide interventions using measurement-based care.
  • Assist clients in identifying goals and coordinating services and providers to meet those goals.
  • Use professional judgment and critical thinking to assist the client in overcoming barriers to goal achievement.
  • Provide clinical and coaching services that are consistent with the client's readiness to change and client engagement.
  • Make referrals to community-based organizations and resources that are consistent with the identified needs in the plan of care and/or by the client.
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Attend specialty court interdisciplinary meetings to provide updates on progress, gather relevant information pertinent to direction of treatment, and coordinate care.


Qualifications:



  • Must hold at least a master's degree from an accredited graduate institution.
  • Licensure requires (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)


  • AllHealth Network does not employ former or current clients or family members of clients receiving treatment at any AllHealth Network facilities.
  • Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience working in a clinical setting in the behavioral health, substance abuse and/or criminal justice field.

Pay Rate:

$60,000 - $72,000 annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.
