Qualifications
- Masters degree in an educational field and Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Certification as an administrator (#10, #80 or #51).
- Experience in the effective use of technology tools to provide a variety of methods for developing and implementing staff development.
- Three to five years of experience working in an adult professional development environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedules professional development opportunities for district and school staff.
- Oversees room reservations, building permits, technology requests, and safety requests related to professional development.
- Coordinates planning with district leaders to record attendance for required professional development opportunities.
- Trains district staff on inputting course information in the districtwide professional development software platform.
- Manages and maintains the districtwide professional development software platform.
- Gathers data, compiles information, prepares reports and manages multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develops and provides reports related to the districtwide professional development sessions.
- Assists and monitors payroll for professional development.
- Oversees all professional development publications and districtwide staff development training schedules.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to provide professional development opportunities with district staff.
- Assists district staff with the use of distance learning technology resources for classrooms, conference rooms and off-site presentations.
- Supports presenters with resources to offer a blend of learning opportunities, such as on-line courses, workshops and seminars.
- Researches and conducts outreach to professionals to serve as guest speakers at adult professional development sessions on a variety of topics.
- Attends meetings, workshops and conferences to keep abreast of new and emerging technology for adult learners.
- Actively supports the MPS Strategic Plan.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
