A HVAC Lab Technician job opportunity is open with our client in East Syracuse, NY. In this role you will support the testing, evaluation, and development of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

Job Specific Requirements
HVAC Lab Technician supports the testing, evaluation, and development of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Experience with HVAC equipment, a strong understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, and the ability to work in a laboratory environment focused on performance testing and product validation.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of laboratory, mechanic, and/or technician experience
OR
Associate degree with 4+ years of laboratory, mechanic, and/or technician experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Experienced in the safe use of common electric power hand & bench tools.
Training and demonstrated proficiency in brazing (water and refrigerant copper piping), refrigerant evacuation and charge for non-flammable refrigerants, minor electrical wiring, basic woodworking skills and use of powered industrial vehicles.
Ability to read schematics and follow written test instructions.
Demonstrated knowledge and interest HVAC systems.
