We are looking for a Medical Outcomes Liaison who is a professional who serves as a key field-based scientific partner bringing clinical, economic, and real-world evidence acumen to help inform decision-makers to join our US Immunology Patient Value team based in the West territory consisting of CO, UT, NV, AZ, NM, CA, OR, WA, MT.

About the role

This professional will be responsible for executing key medical and HEOR strategies to enhance and positively impact patients living with chronic inflammatory diseases.

Who you'll work with

UCB US Immunology Patient Value Unit team.

What you'll do

  • Leads the execution of the Immunology Medical and RWE engagement strategy with external partners and decision-makers primarily in integrated delivery networks (IDNs), large medical groups, and regional health plans/Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs)
  • Serves as an outcomes expert at key medical and scientific conferences, advisory boards, and internal meetings. Support field-based cross-functional teams to provide medical expertise. Lead strategic medical and HEOR engagements with internal stakeholders including account executives and partnership leads
  • Cultivates relationships with key stakeholders including C-/D-suite decision-makers in large medical groups and pharmacy/medical directors at national/regional health plans and PBMs
  • Assesses clinical and economic data gaps at key accounts and collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide insight into HEOR needs
  • Partners and supports the design and execution of field-based Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) collaborations
  • Provides HEOR strategic support and clinical content expertise in innovation and partnership opportunities

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following

Minimum requirements

* Doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO or PhD in a relevant field) required.

* Minimum of 2 years field medical experience in industry. Autoimmune disease or biologics experience preferred

* Extensive (up to 75%) travel required, including overnights and some weekends.

* Valid US Driver's License and with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 2 years.

* Must reside within the assigned territory

* Must complete initial training and successfully pass all assessments within 90 days of hire

Preferred requirements

* Strong background/experience in HEOR and payer interactions.

* Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the US health ecosystem

* Ability to critically assess and analyze clinical and HEOR data gaps and provide relevant medical solutions

* Willing to take initiative on complex projects and able to identify what is necessary to complete task

* Must be a strong team player and effectively interface with other internal departments including regional business units, marketing, sales, medical affairs, and clinical operations

* Excellent skills in professional interactions
