Senior Finance Business Analyst

Pay Rate: $122,000 - $140,000 / year

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Senior Financial System Analyst will prepare financial analysis to support business operations, and will also lead the design, implementation, and improvement of financial and accounting systems and processes. This individual will serve as a key liaison between Finance, Accounting, and IT, providing support to ensure that financial processes and systems are efficient, compliant, and scalable. The individual will provide support for the Epicor ERP solution; this requires knowledge of finance and accounting modules of the Epicor system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide FP&A Financial Reporting & Analysis, monthly, quarterly reporting, and develop custom reports for finance and business leaders to drive business value creation
• Lead efforts on process improvement for the finance and accounting organization, learn and leverage RPA technology (Automation Everywhere) to develop process automation to drive efficiency improvement within the organization
• Act as liaison between finance/accounting teams and IT to drive cross-functional collaboration on project execution
• Develop knowledge on PSI Epicor ERP system and is responsible for support with integrating, merging, upgrading, and testing of Epicor ERP modules, with a primary focus on finance and accounting modules
• Communicate with IT Epicor Business Analysts to ensure proper integration of process changes and functionality for the finance and accounting organization. Work with IT to leverage the IT organization to develop solutions through effective use of business and process analysis techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or Information Systems
• 5+ years of experience in financial systems, familiar with ERP system financial, accounting and controlling modules
• Strong Financial/Accounting business process knowledge
• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including industry best practices and trends
• Strong Financial/Accounting business process knowledge
• Understanding of GAAP and cost accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, prefer working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other BI tools
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of process improvement and the ability to facilitate team discussions to clearly record current state flows
