The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Stormwater Field Consultant to provide technical expertise and field support for our precast stormwater treatment products. In this role, you'll work directly with contractors and precast facilities, ensuring quality product manufacturing and successful onsite installation. You'll serve as a vital resource from project planning through post-installation support, delivering exceptional service and helping to ensure our systems perform as intended.

About the role:



  • Serve as the on-site advisor during installation of Contech stormwater systems.
  • Support contractors by answering technical questions and coordinating installation logistics.
  • Conduct job site assessments and lead pre-installation meetings.
  • Assist with or complete installation of internal system components.
  • Perform quality assurance inspections at precast manufacturing facilities.
  • Monitor inventory and audit raw material and finished product stock.
  • Ensure adherence to Contech specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct post-installation inspections and provide warranty-related support.
  • Complete detailed field reports and documentation.
  • Perform light maintenance and repairs as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree in Construction or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on construction experience; knowledge of concrete pouring, reinforcing, and finishing preferred.
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and shop drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage on-site conflict professionally.
  • Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and working in physically demanding environments.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to obtain confined space certification and work in such environments.
  • Skilled in using hand, electric, and power tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 80%) via air and automobile.
  • 1/2 ton 4X4 truck not older than 5 years is required; vehicle stipend will be provided.
