Your Job Georgia-Pacific is recruiting for a Utilities Operating Technician in New Augusta, MS. The Utility Operating Technician is responsible for safely operating high pressure steam boilers, turbine-generators, and evaporators to ensure the safe production of specialty and market fluff pulp. This position works a 12-hour rotating shift and the starting pay is $27.46 per hour. Our Team With a workforce of approximately 300, Leaf River is in the heart of South Mississippi, just 20 miles from Hattiesburg. For nearly 40 years, the Leaf River team has been on a journey to make the best products possible for customers while doing it in new and innovative ways. Our products include chemical cellulose, custom fibers, and nonwoven materials that are used in products such as diapers, baby wipes and coffee filters.
