Location: 4900 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144-2302The EDD Lead Investigator is a role within the Bank's BSA/AML Customer Due Diligence Unit. This role is primarily responsible for performing the initial and periodic due diligence review of high-risk clients. These high-risk reviews encompass evaluating the risk factors that result in a high client score, performing negative media searches using Bank and internet resources, ensuring required account documentation is current, and analyzing account activity. The EDD Investigator will also be required to interface with relationship managers, as necessary, to obtain additional information or documentation. Moreover, the role is required to complete these high-risk reviews according to established SLA timeframes, document the outcome and conclusions of each review, and to escalate for further review any clients with unusual activity. EDD Lead Investigators should have prior direct due diligence experience, or relevant experience in related fields such as AML/Fraud as they will be expected to leverage prior experience in being a resource for the team. Essential Job Functions: Conducting and decisioning investigations and/or reviewing for quality alerts related to suspicious activity or customer transaction and behavior patterns along with identifying potential onboarding and retention risk. Demonstrate strong investigative/analytical skills and be able to formulate and clearly articulate a supportable rationale behind the outcome of an investigation/review (i.e. SAR or customer retention decision) while complying with departmental procedures. Partner with the Lines of Business (LOB) to clarify and document risk factors associated with a client or banking relationship and/or resolve matters where the supporting documentation does not adequately describe risk associated with a client. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $52,000.00 to $68,000.00annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
