Description
Job Summary: As a Sales Representative I - Commercial, you are responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities while maintaining a book of business. This role focuses on expanding the company's customer base, presenting solutions to potential clients, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory or market. Essential Functions:
- Identify, develop, and purse new business opportunities to generate leads, expand the client base, and increase revenue.
- Maintain and grow assigned customer accounts by ensuring consistent follow-up, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including proposal development, negotiation of pricing and terms, and successful closure of deals.
- Serve as a consultant to clients by understanding their challenges and presenting tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Conduct regular check-ins, discovery meetings, product demos, and review calls with clients.
- Generate qualified leads through inbound and outbound efforts, including calls, email campaigns, events, and referrals.
- Effectively manage assigned geographic territory, ensuring strategic coverage, efficient scheduling, and prioritization of high-potential opportunities.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activities, and client interactions using the CRM system.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure a coordinated approach to client success.
- Continuously seek feedback and advocate for enhancements to service delivery and product offerings to ensure customer satisfaction.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Ability to manage multiple account management projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Five years account management or sales experience in a fast-paced sales environment preferred
- Print and/or publishing experience preferred
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work or role with up to 5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Able to translate previous work experience into very good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions.
- Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance.
- Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine.
- Able to apply very good functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC or other technical tools to complete work assignments.
- May require knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn specialized software related to the position such as CRM.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to understand general business concepts and apply them when communicating with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments.
- Valid Driver's License
