This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power in Senatobia, MS.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Supports the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional/global category leader and fosters clear communication internally, externally, and between businesses as well as supports the implementation of procurement activities and initiatives.

  • Creates local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updates/maintains frame contracts. Runs benchmark studies for the Category team and for specific sourcing initiatives.

  • Supports regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies. Negotiates agreements with main suppliers and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.

  • Onboards new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer, runs regular supplier evaluations, and provides supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.

  • Runs regional sourcing initiatives under a defined threshold.

Qualifications
  • BS degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant fields.

  • 5 years plus experience in Procurement working experience at a minimum of one of these categories: thermoplastic, thermoset plastic, metal, and copper electrical components experience.

  • Knowledge of SAP AMSAP, SAP Torque, PowerBI, Microsoft Office and the Electrification market

  • Spanish is a plus.
