Opportunity in Melville, NY or Miami Lakes, FL SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Card Operations Manager to support end-to-end operations of our Commercial Card program. This role will ensure the smooth functioning of card issuance, account maintenance, transaction processing, reporting, and compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements. This individual will also partner with and be back-up for the Commercial Card Product Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of and background in Commercial Card programs, operational efficiency, and stakeholder communication. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Oversees daily operations for Commercial Card products.
- Supports new cardholder onboarding and account setup processes.
- Partners with Product Management, Technology, and Customer Service teams to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
- Monitors transaction processing and settlement activities; identify and escalate discrepancies or delays to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Maintains documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX).
- Assists with third-party vendor management (e.g., card networks, processors).
- Manages reporting, analytics, and dashboards for usage, performance, and exception monitoring.
- Participates in audits, risk assessments, and control testing.
- Contributes to process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in Commercial Card operations, treasury services, or financial operations.
- Experience with Commercial Card program management or administration.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement training is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of card platforms and systems (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, Fiserv, TSYS, Concur, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Commercial Card products and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and workflow platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Familiarity with APIs and integration of card products with ERP or expense management platforms.
