As the Director, Strategy & Technology - Routing (Telco Cloud, Data Center Fabric, AI, etc.), you'll reporting to the VP, IP Networks - CSP Segment. You'll play a key role in driving our go-to-market strategy and expanding our presence in the global service provider market. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Define go-to-market strategy for global service providers in the telco cloud and data center fabric market in Nokia's IP Networks business group.
  • Develop and assist in the development of solutions targeted toward CSPs for Nokia IP Networks.
  • Work with regional PLM, central PLM, and the regional business centers to collaborate on and drive successful adoption of network architectures and products across the service provider space and encompassing the entire IP Networks (BG) portfolio as applicable.
  • Lead and/or contribute to technical pre-sales/sales strategy and go-to-market plan for these network types within Nokia IP Networks.
  • Design and develop solution communication toward business centers and sales organizations globally.
  • Meet with customers and business partners frequently to promote data center fabric and telco cloud solutions as defined.
  • Other tasks as required to drive and promote the adoption and sale of data center applications for service providers in the global service provider space, including but not limited to executive level engagement, solution documentation, testing, and training, and customer/partner engagement.


You have:



  • 10+ years of experience in IP routing and/or data center switching in business development, network engineer, and/or product management domains.
  • Experienced in developing business in the DCF, DC interconnect, and/or telco cloud domains, including network automation and management.
  • Experience with partner/channel collaboration
  • Understanding and knowledge of the telco cloud and data center for service providers market and competitor landscape (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Arista, others)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience at the expert level in relevant technologies and protocols, including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), services architecture (EVPN, VPLS, VLL, etc.) and tunneling (MPLS, SR). and switching (L2) to support the data center applications.
  • Strong communication skills and a recognized team player and leader in a matrix organization, who understands that we achieve more when we work together.
