As the Executive Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to executives, managing schedules, communications, and various tasks to ensure efficient operations. Job Summary Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is the team selected by the U.S. Air Force to conduct Test and Operations Sustainment at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee. BNH is led by an office of executives including a General Manager, Deputy General Manager, and Technical Manager, as well as a team of Directors overseeing multi-disciplinary activities. The incumbent will coordinate with these leaders as well as local Air Force and civic leaders to ensure proper engagement, completion of deadlines and data requests, and smooth operations.
Job Duties:
Senior level support position. Works independently to provide administrative and secretarial support of a responsible and confidential nature to help ensure smooth functioning of the Office of the General Manager. Duties require accuracy, judgment, a high degree of initiative, discretion, diplomacy, and knowledge of protocol. Anticipates and quickly adapts to changing priorities and problems. Adheres to and supports the use of company policies and procedures and good industrial and office safety practices.

Regular attendance is essential to the efficient operation of BNH's contractual responsibilities to the Air Force and is a necessary condition of employment. Each employee will be expected to adhere to the work schedule established by his/her supervisor and comply with the company's attendance policy. Alternate and/or extra hours may be required to meet work schedules at an approximate rate of 5-15%, to include off-shift, weekend, and/or call-in work. Employees are expected to report to work at their scheduled time, return from breaks promptly, and depart work not earlier than the end of the scheduled day. Compliance with safety rules, safe work practices, and security protocols are essential functions of the job.
Must obtain and maintain the required security clearance requirements for this position and obtain and maintain access to the AEDC local area computer network. Security protocols demanded by this position are of national security importance and should be taken seriously. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure they are aware of and adhere to the security requirements for his/her particular work area.
This position is based in an industrial complex comprised of multiple facilities requiring transportation to various buildings within the complex. Duties require frequent and extended periods of outside work, subject to all weather conditions and extremes. This position may require the employee at times to analyze a large amount of information and at times, make decisions under pressure quickly. This position requires the ability to decipher visual cues and hear and process auditory directions. The position may require the employee to work a temporary, alternative schedule or shift as requested by the supervisor and may be subject to "call in" as required to maintain test operations capabilities. The successful candidate would be expected to be aware of safety hazards in the immediate area and comply with safety rules and safe work practices to ensure the safety of yourself and your team. Compliance with all security protocols is required within the complex. |
