Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.

This applies for all shifts; Part Time positions will be prorated. Per Diem positions are not included.

The positions are available at Moses, Einstein, Westchester Square, Hutch Metro Center MAP, Gun Hill MRI (MRI only), MMP Radiology and Wakefield campus.

Referral Program:

* The ARP Bonus will be paid one month after the successful completion of probationary period.

* This Associate Referral Program is open to Montefiore Medical Center associates as outlined in HR Policy ll-4b.

Under the direction of radiologist, performs Cat Scan Procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
* This is an overnight position 12am-8am Sunday - Thursday

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma. Associate's degree preferred.

Satisfactory completion of formal Radiology technology, must be CT certified by the ARRT.

Valid license by the State of New York, Injection registered.
