The Director of Program Development and Grants Administration will oversee the development and pre- and post-award administration of federal and other research grants in the department and facilitate the recruitment, onboarding and training of new research faculty and staff., Requirements Master's Degree required Certified Research Associate (CRA) required Experience at a high level in federal grant applications, planning, development, report writing and oversight required Able to maintain oversight of a multitude of federal and clinical grants. Superior analytical skill. Proficiency with computerized spread sheets and database programs. Demonstrated success / proven record with federal and clinical grant stewardship and applications. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage pre- and post-award activities for clinical research grants sponsored by Federal, State, Foundations and industry agencies. Knowledge of NAGC [e.g., Uniform Guidance for Federal Awards (2 CFR Part 200); Federal Grant Application Portals and Systems; Federal Requisition Regulation (FAR); The Principles of Cost Accounting; GAAP; HS Protection (45 CFR 46); Technology Transfer; Animal Welfare Act (9 CFR Parts 1-4); Clinical Trials Reporting; Contract Law Fundamentals; The Single Audit Act; Global Export Compliance, COI in Research, Research Misconduct; Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), Funding Landscape] Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
