The Graphics Supervisor oversees the Graphic Reproduction Excellence (GRE) day to day operations at the site level, ensuring that materials released from the department meet all quality and technical standards for printing. The front-line leadership position sets the foundation for success by fully engaging team members in a positive work environment, collaborating with internal and external customers to meet and exceed their expectations, and focusing on continuous improvement in graphic operations. Responsibilities:
- Lead the front-line utilization of Managing for Daily Improvement, MDI, and other Lean tools to ensure all Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost KPIs are achieved daily at the site level.
- Provides front-line, daily leadership to professionals whose primary areas of responsibility include item creation, pre-flight, planning, pre-press, imposition, tooling, and platemaking processes.
- Support in a graphics supervisory role, the Sales and Operations site leadership and operations team to ensure best in class service for both MCC customers and manufacturing facilities.
- Responsible for the daily delivery of ERP data, production ready files, proofs, tooling, and plates to meet strict internal and external timelines, scheduling, and quality requirements.
- Lead at a supervisor level, the development, implementation, and adherence of standard work to ensure the effectiveness of Graphic Reproduction Excellence processes for internal and external customers at the site level.
- Drive a day-to-day culture of continuous improvement (CI) by ensuring collaboration with employees and management to maximize efficiencies by identifying and removing waste along with improving cycle time.
- Responsible for assisting in proper staffing, completing daily payroll timesheets, training, coaching and development of departmental employees. Recommends to management personnel actions, such as hiring and promotions.
- Oversee the performance of assigned personnel.
- Makes recommendations to management for departmental upgrades by keeping current with industry and technology advancements.
- Ownership and understanding of print tool creation to deliver optimized inputs for production success.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience in Graphics Reproduction, Customer Service, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Expertise with company ERP and Graphics Systems
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, methods, and practices.
- Excellent two-way communication skills (including both oral and written)
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited information may exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to determine root cause of problem and implement an appropriate corrective action.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- High energy level and ability to marshal resources to accomplish projects and manage initiatives.
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing environment and support of multiple clients.
