PAY RANGE

BENEFITS

Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Champion the Product Vision: Shape, communicate, and bring the product strategy and minimum viable product (MVP) to life-aligning vision with execution through clear roadmaps and engaging dashboards.

• Translate Strategy into Stories: Turn business goals into actionable user stories. Define acceptance criteria, approve completed work, and ensure every story adds value for members and internal teams.

• Prioritize What Matters Most: Make smart, timely decisions about what gets built-and when-based on data, feedback, and alignment with department priorities.

• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor and analyze market and industry trends to inform product direction and design decisions that keep BECU ahead of the game.

• Own the Backlog: Define, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog. Inspect progress regularly, address design concerns, and make tough calls when needed.

• Be the Voice of the Member: Advocate for the member experience in every conversation. Gather feedback, resolve issues, and ensure the product consistently delivers value.

• Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to create, maintain, and adjust the product roadmap as needs evolve.

• Lead with Influence: Act as the go-to expert for your product, representing member needs to internal teams and working closely with vendors and partners to deliver top-tier results.

• Adapt and Evolve: Embrace change and take on new responsibilities as the product and organization grow. Flexibility is key to driving lasting impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline required, or equivalent work or educational experience.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in related product management or development roles, including experience with agile and scrum.
• Experience managing and maintaining vendor relationships required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience developing basic user stories and domain experience preferred.
• Strong research skills.
• Leadership and negotiation skills
• Product Owner certification preferred.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills required.
