Quality Inspector

Staffmark is hiring a Quality Inspector in Houston, TX for a well-established manufacturing company. If you have a strong attention to detail and at least 2 years of inspection experience, this is a great opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and visual inspections according to engineering and quality specifications on incoming materials
• Enter inspection data into internal systems
• Receive, inspect, and reject parts as needed; complete and distribute Reject Material Reports (RMRs)
• Inspect various product lines across a full range of ratings
• Maintain accurate documentation and organized records
• Communicate part issues with suppliers, buyers, engineers, and warehouse supervisors
• Review and approve rejected material
• Conduct internal audits and report findings
• Inspect first article parts and submit detailed reports
• Maintain inspection equipment and filing systems

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of inspection experience
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficient with basic computer skills and documentation procedures
