Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join one of our Texas offices. This position will work closely with the Benefits Manager to administer employee health, welfare and retirement benefits. The successful individual will have a strong customer-focused disposition to provide guidance and assistance to all partners and employees regarding benefits. This position is based in Houston, Austin or Dallas, Texas and reports to the Benefits Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the health and welfare benefits for all partners and employees
  • Respond to partner and employee benefit questions and concerns and ensure resolution
  • Maintain employee benefit information in the HR system including, medical, dental, vision, life insurance plans, disability programs and accidental death policies
  • Process monthly health and welfare bill/claim reconciliations and payments
  • Audit benefit deduction reports in Workday
  • Assist with weekly vendor integrations and resolution of discrepancies
  • Respond to general reporting requests and provide compliance support
  • Support the administration of various employee benefit programs and initiatives
  • Work with the Benefits Manager and Benefits Specialist to coordinate all aspects of annual enrollment
  • Maintain benefits information on the firm's Intranet
  • Support the firm's wellness committee
  • Assists with HR initiatives and special projects

Qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in benefits, specifically health and welfare
  • Strong communication, both written and oral
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, and able to learn new programs and systems quickly
  • Experience with Workday is preferred
  • Highly organized with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and analyze issues and problems; recommend and implement solutions; and respond effectively to sensitive inquires and complaints
  • Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines
  • Integrity and good judgment when handling confidential information
  • Ability to remain professional throughout stressful situations, and resolve problems with creativity, confidentiality and tact
