Pay Range: $112,900 - $135,500 annually

Job Summary

The Sr. Security Architect plays a critical role in safeguarding Hyundai Translead's digital infrastructure. This position is responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, monitoring for malicious activity, and ensuring the secure design and implementation of IT systems and applications. The role supports enterprise-wide security initiatives, risk assessments, and compliance efforts, contributing to a resilient and secure technology environment.

Essential Functions

  • Participate in security planning and analysis activities to support enterprise IT initiatives
  • Develop, refine, and implement enterprise-wide security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Monitor and interpret the legal and regulatory environment to ensure compliance
  • Recommend and enforce changes to IT policies, standards, and procedures to maintain compliance
  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal security standards
  • Develop and manage processes for the information security governance program
  • Track and report on remediation progress, escalating issues as needed.
  • Work with IT delivery and development teams to design secure infrastructure and application solutions
  • Provide security guidance on business processes and technical implementations
  • Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations into suspicious activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve security issues
  • Develop and deliver security awareness and compliance training programs
  • Audit operational implementations to ensure compliance with access control policies
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the organization's security posture
  • Drives enterprise compliance with global regulations (e.g., ISO 27001) and reduces systemic risk
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions (Continued)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 5 years of progressive experience in information security, including 2-4 years in a security architecture or engineering role
  • Experience designing secure systems and applications across multiple platforms (cloud, hybrid, on-prem)
  • Proven ability to lead security architecture efforts for complex IT projects
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, OWASP, COBIT, or Zero Trust
  • Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, and threat modeling

Preferred Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related discipline
  • One or more of the following certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), GIAC certifications (e.g., GSEC, GDSA) or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
