The Opportunity:

Join our System Integration and Testing team where, with integrity and passion, we champion customer satisfaction by ensuring the seamless performance of solutions.

You will join a highly skilled team focused on the design, integration, and verification of cutting-edge integrated systems spanning hardware and digital assets targeted at people with diabetes. You will be instrumental in ensuring the robust performance, reliability, and safety of devices used by millions of patients, driving technical excellence and fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous execution.

As a Sr. Software Systems Test Engineer (m/f/d), you'll directly contribute to delivering exceptional value and a positive experience for every customer. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the quality of our customer-facing technology and see the direct impact of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute day-to-day system testing activities for high-quality product delivery.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies to ensure successful testing of new products/features.

  • Identify, document, and manage defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, and oversee their lifecycle.

  • Contribute to product optimization by recommending enhancements based on testing insights and user experience.

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality standards.

  • Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable reports on system quality and stability.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups) and promote testing process improvements.

  • Innovate by introducing new technologies and methodologies to improve product integration and testing.

  • Perform testing types such as functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.

  • Automate test processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with emerging testing tools and practices.

Who you are:

We're looking for an individual who is deeply passionate about quality, bringing a strong sense of energy and dedication to deliver exceptional products that benefit our patients, empower our people, and drive our business forward.

  • Educational Background & Experience: You'll need a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering or science), with an advanced degree preferred. 5 years of professional experience in testing software, including automated, functional, and non-functional. Experience in testing integrated hardware with mobile applications is preferred. You have experience in software development and testing within Agile environments, preferred, and a solid understanding of testing methodologies and the product development lifecycle, particularly within Agile frameworks.

  • Testing & Defect Management Expertise: You possess strong experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and automated testing. You're experienced with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and adept at the defect management process; PTC RV&S experience is preferred.

  • Problem-Solving & Quality Focus: You have a practical approach with strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. You bring a passion for product quality and design, with a focus on delivering a superior user experience.

  • Communication & Collaboration: You exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You've demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, project management, and building and maintaining positive working relationships. Experience working with globally distributed development and testing teams is also valuable.

  • Work Ethic & Language Skills: You're able to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment and as part of a collaborative team. Strong English communication skills (oral and written) are required.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $109,000 - $202,400.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
