PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
The primary objective is the support and maintenance of customers in the IL, MO, and KY area. Do a professional job, keep equipment and facilities in a high state of repair. Assist the Location Manager in all other duties as assigned and follow all policies as adopted and implemented by Southern FS, Inc. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs all required service work relating to LP and Petroleum customers and all company use facilities, including initial installations, maintenance, and repairs. Records all work performed and prepares service work orders, and all other required forms daily. Schedules work and communicates with customers and other company owned locations in a timely manner, coordinating all service work through the Dexter location. Communicates professionally and provides optimal customer service. Communicates marketing programs and distributes sales promotion materials to customers and prospects. Adheres to and supports the company credit policy, checking credit history of patron before making a sale, and explaining policy to new customers. Collects accounts as needed according to credit policy. Follows up on all customer complaints and seeks solutions in a timely manner. Maintains company vehicle, performs basic maintenance as needed. Maintains bulk plant facility and all equipment in a clean, safe, and professional manner. Attends and passes any and all applicable training as needed to perform the above stated duties or as assigned by Southern FS. Wears clean, approved company uniforms and maintains professional personal appearance in order to present a professional image. Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaborative efforts. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems and handle customer inquiries and concerns. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement and maintain a satisfactory driving record. Must be able to travel independently and overnight. Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered "normal." Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions. Working conditions may occasionally include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures. Report to work at prescribed times. Be safety conscious at all times and report any unsafe operations or equipment to supervisor. Cooperate with supervisor and peers. Be friendly and show concern for patron needs. Strive to keep company equipment in high state of repair and cleanliness and operate company vehicles with due care to maintain the longest service life possible. Prevent undo waste of inventory products, repair parts, tools, and time to better net profits of company. Attend all assigned meetings and arrive at prescribed times. Notify supervisor of all time off (i.e. personal days, sick days, vacation, etc.) at earliest possible time. Use company vehicles for job related duties only.
